My weekend

Woof! Sorry I've been MIA, but now I'm back! The weather has been so crappy lately except for yesterday so Mom took me to my favorite park to go swimming. Mom threw sticks into the water for me and I would go fetch. She says I'm a great swimmer due to me being a Newfie. It was all good and fun until she brought me home and gave me a bath! She tricked me! Well I guess it's not too bad since after my bath we drove up to Maine to see my grandparents and my Dad. I got to hang out outside alot, get lots of attention, and they even took me to the beach! I got so much attention...everyone wanted to stop and pet me. I was such a good boy, I sat and let the kids pet me and I even gave them kisses! Then Mom, Dad and I shared a large vanilla soft serve (of course they had to get 3 spoons like I had cooties). But hey, can't complain because I had a blast!

Life is Good

Mom had today off and we spent the whole day together. It started by me barking and whining at her so she ccouldn't sleep in past 7:30 so she can spend every waking moment with moi! After we both ate we went to the park where I got to go swimming and see my friends, then I came home for a long nap...those are the best. It was 90 degrees out today so Mom had me inside most of the day (unless I had to potty) and she had the air condition blasting inside so I wouldn't be hot. She sure is good to me! Then after we ate dinner she took me out for some ice cream, again! Two weeks in a row, arrroooooo! But of course I couldn't have my own, Mom and I shared a small bowl- *not the same spoon of course* I'm one lucky pup!

After a long day, I'm off to do what I do best...

Moi in black and white

So ever since last month, I haven't really got to hang out with mom because her grandma crossed the rainbow bridge and she was out of the country for a couple weeks, then she came back and was very upset because she had to work and go to TWO weddings back to back. Why are all these people getting married and ruining precious time between me and my mom? Well, it's been a while but this weekend both mom and dad had a long weekend so the three of us hung out for 3 days straight and it was the best!!! I got to go to two different parks, took many walks with mom and dad, got many smooches and belly rubs, and they even took me out for my first ice cream! It was newf-licious! Mom only gave me half of a bowl because she was afraid that my tummy would get upset. I coulda eaten the WHOLE kiddie bowl! *Sorry guys, no pictures of the monkey's first ice cream. Next time, I promise* All in all, it was a great weekend. Mom always says how spoiled I am...moi? Spoiled? Maybe just a bit. So today is our last day of the long weekend together. My mom the papparazzi decides it would be "fun" to take pictures of me in black and white.

Hello friends! Sorry I've been MIA...I've been busy being a young, handsome Newf. Mom and Dad took me to New York because their friends were getting married and they didn't want me to be by myself at home. I didn't get to hang out with Mom and Dad the WHOLE time so I had to stay in the hotel by myself for a few hours. But they totally made up for not spoiling me every 5 minutes by taking me to the beach...my very first time! It was totally cool! The water was nice and cool, I got to chase some ducks, and Mom and Dad says I'm a great swimmer! Here are some pics from my trip above...

Who says newfies can't be lap dogs

This woman sure makes a good couch on top of the couch. Mom says I'm getting too big to sit on her lap, but I don't think so. I'm only 77.8 lbs as of this week and speaking of...this saturday guess who's turning 7 months? Moi! I'm thinking I can still pull this lap sitting thing off for, um...well, forever! Just don't tell mom...

Gizzy, I'm alive, I swear! Ok, so my mom has been lazy and not updating my important life. Since I've been snipped (THANKS MOM AND DAD *sarcasm*). So anyhoo, I've been growing into a beautiful young Newf. My mom says I'm getting more handsome everyday. My big boy hair is growing in, I'm getting taller, and mom says I'm going through the "uglies" but I know she doesn't mean it. So today Mom and Dad took me to my very first Newfoundland Club of New England event. I got to meet other Newfies and watch them cart and freight haul. It was pretty cool. Here are some pics:
